Strange Haunts has a few campaigns in the works for your use. Our current project is the Era of Avalon campaign, with a prequel season also in production.

While it will be a while before the entire Era of Avalon season is ready for purchase, we are putting together a setting dossier and map for free use.
Era of Avalon - Setting Notes
In the year 1848 A.D. an island emerged from the mists between the Scottish and British coastlines, and magic has been leaking back into the world ever since with the island at the epicenter.

Inspired by legends of old and the strange happenings of the island, it was dubbed "Avalon". Indeed, it may even be that very place spoken of in Arthurian myth.Â

Over the decades the island has been explored and settled - or re-settled as it were, as ruins of civilizations past are scattered across the land. Ancient forts, looming manors, temples and graveyards, all of natures and origins unknown.Â

Eighty years after the island's emergence, in September of 1928, a group of brave explorers arrive on the foggy docks of the port town of Gauntly. Where their journey will take them, well... only you can say.

Make unlikely allies and do battle against the fearsome things that go bump in the night, or delve deep into the heart of Avalon to seek her secrets.

The port town of Gauntly is a place of salt, sea, and endurance. While fortune does not favor its denizens they are united by a shared spirit and a common goal - survival.

However, this place of unlikely fellowship is facing a new threat. A wailing ghost walks the streets after dark, luring the unsuspecting to watery graves. Is she malicious, or simply another victim? It's up to Avalon's newest arrivals to find out.

Follow her trail of tragedy, unravel her story, and save the citizens by laying her to rest.
Coming Soon - Episode 2
"Obsidian Omen"
The ghost woman has been laid to rest, but Gauntly's troubles are far from over. A winged creature has taken to the skies over the port town, striking from the shadows and seeking the blood of the unwary.

And it may not even be the first time.

Identify the beast and follow it back to it's lair, or brave the paths out of town and risk its wrath. Save lives or cast the fates of the townsfolk to the winds - the choice is yours.
